Can you tell us about your role in your company ?
“I’m Sonia AKKARI, Sector Manager. Due to my role, I liaise with the sales team to communicate the expectations of industrial customers regarding quality and price. I’m also responsible for transmitting market information and specifications.
As for me, I am Laure SCHEUER, Development Officer. I work on marketing cereals with Sonia and have direct contact with farmers and industrial clients. I also operate in the futures market”.
Which GRAINBOW solutions do you need to use?
“We have been using the WSD solution since 2007 and AGRIMARKET since 2018. In 2023, we have decided to equip ourselves with the Agrimarket mobile application”.
What were your initial issues with AGRIMARKET? How does it meet your current needs?
“We were used to draw up contracts on paper, with all the constraints that this entailed. By using this new tool, we can simplify the process of contracting grain with farmers, with price contracts and commitment contracts that can be drawn up online. It’s a digital tool that can be easily used by sales representative, whether remotely or in meetings”.
What are the day-to-day benefits of using a tool like AGRIMARKET?
“A tool like Agrimarket has enabled us to make our process more reliable. Contracts are signed electronically and arrive directly in the inboxes of the people concerned. Moreover, sales representative no longer needs to visit farmers to have contracts signed”.
What modules do you have?
“With Agrimarket, we’ve E-Crop and My account universes.
E-crop universe enables us to offer our farmers firm price contracts and commitment contracts. Thanks to My account universe, we can provide farmers with various documents such as delivery notes, invoices and vouchers”.
Do your farmers use the web interface or the mobile application more?
“We launched the application last year and we’re in a phase of progress. For the moment, farmers don’t have access to the tool. Only the sales representative use it and act as intermediaries, contracting on the farmer’s behalf”.
What kind of offers do you have for your farmers?
“We offer fixed-price purchase offers for grain as well as commitment contracts for production sectors”.
How did Grainbow help you to set up the solution?
“Grainbow’s team helped us in developing an interface tailored to our needs. Initial tests were conducted in a pre-production environment to refine the substance and form of the digital solution. During the launch phase, the teams supported us in addressing our questions, implementing some specific developments, and fixing bugs”.
